A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing a wonderful event hosted by Princess & the Prom, which is a non-profit organization that provides beautiful gowns to girls from all over Connecticut. Each year, they gather over 2,000 donated dresses and make dreams come true for 600+ girls. It really is a very special cause, and watching the girls as they nervously stepped out of their little dressing rooms to see themselves in the mirror was so sweet…. but even better was the sheer joy that washed over each of them when they finally found “THE dress”.
